My personal tutoring philosophy is to meet you where you're at, and to value our time together without competing for your time or attention. I want to find ways to engage with your interests and passions in a productive and educational way. I also think it's crucial to build good executive function habits as a student, which I look forward to helping you with!
Education
Graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2025. Bachelor of Arts in Psychological & Brain Sciences, minor in Jazz Studies. Took classes in Sociology, Education, and Women Gender and Sexuality Studies.
Teaching Experience
Currently employed at Oxford Tutors USA. Provide academic tutoring to virtual clients (8 to 17 years), including general homework help, formal writing skills, Spanish language learning, and standardized test prep (PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP). Develop individualized curriculum for each client based on age, skills, and tutoring needs. Offer holistic mentorship to help clients build critical thinking skills and maintain general academic wellness. Provide personal mentorship for younger clients, helping with social skill development. Mentor clients with learning disabilities and differences, helping them to build executive function skills. Communicate consistently with students, parents, and educators via written reports following each session.
Interests
Musician for 11 years. Saxophone, drums, vocals. Avid music listener, vinyl, cassette, and CD collector. Salsa dancer. Powerlifter, runner. Hoping to join a boxing gym soon.
